Michael Moore may give up documentary

‘Capitalism’ may be Michael Moore’s curtain call.

The often controversial, but never cuddly Academy Award-winning filmmaker says he may never make another documentary.

“I’m saying it’s a possibility, yeah,” Moore said in an interview at the Toronto International Film Festival according to the Huffington Post. “I’ve been having to sort of knock my head against the wall here for 20 years saying these things.”

His Capitalism sucks doc, “Capitalism: A Love Story,” is set to open nationwide Oct. 2.

Moore’s films have tackled the topics of the day - 911, auto makers, the America’s health care system and gun control.

Moore told the Chicago Tribune that he didn’t hold back with his latest film.

“I made this one as if I wasn’t going to make another documentary after this,” he said.

The writer and director of the John Candy movie “Canadian Bacon” says he may return to fiction.

What do you think? would you be sad if you didn’t have another Michael Moore’s documentary to knock around?

Micheal Moore needs to do a documentary about how United States has 3 world transportation system! This country has been cheated out of high speed trains way to long! Only the east coast has a speed train!

I wish Michael Moore was run over by a high speed train. That right there would justify having the train!

Who would tell us what we should think and feel if Michael Moore is done? Some one should let him know that capitalizim is how he go so rich. BTW, when he has a heart attack, or needs lipo, he should go to Cuba’s national health care system he likes so much. What fat, useless liberal.

We need Michael Moore. With some much corruption in Washington. Our representative have been bought off by lobbist or Insurance companies. You would be hard pressed to find a honest representative in Washington. The rich keep getting richer and the poor are lucky to stay in their homes. It is a shame before God. The only time our representatives need us is when it is time for re-election. I say let’s get rid of them all and start over. I applaud you Michael Moore, keep calling them out!!!!!

At least MM speaks the truth and the constantly negative and whining right-wing detests that about him. The righties can only name call and their childishness has no substance. What about their fat idol Drugbaugh? He needs to be electrocuted along with crybaby Glenn Beck. Michael Moore forever! This country needs to hear the truth and they’ll not get it from their corporate lobbyist owned and control politicians and right-wing toadies.

Hey Maggie, the rich get rich from hard work and good investments, the poor are poor from lack of hard work and brains to invest, which do you fall under?

To call anything this fat liar does a documentary is an insult to real documentaries. Documentary is defined as “Presenting facts objectively without editorializing or inserting fictional matter, as in a book or film” Let’s call it what it is, Propaganda. I say, “Auf Wiedersehen, Leni Riefenstahl”

12:40 poster (MooreisIdot): If you’re going to call someone dumb or an idiot, please at least learn the difference between “by” and “buy.” And also learn to spell “Idiot.” There’s a second “I”.

Todd, you’re complaining about name-calling? That’s funny. To quote you: “fat idol Drugbaugh”, “crybaby Glenn Beck”, and then you want to see them both electrocuted. It’s certain that you see no problem with name-calling if you’re the one doing it. I just think it’s ironic that Michael Moore decries capitalism when that system is how he became rich.

I think Farenheit 911 and Bowling for Columbine were amusing, not 100% accurate. I do think it’s ironic that Moore gets rich off capitalism and decries it as unfair. It’s all about biting the hand that feeds you. numbskull72 - Yeah, I thought it was funny that someone calling Moore an idiot sounds like a total uneducated dummy. Do you ever notice how bad the language and grammar are on these comment boards? Scary, isn’t it?

“At least MM speaks the truth …” Michael Moore has very little to do with the truth. Take for instance his documentary on socialized medicine where he visited Cuba. He visited the facilities that catered to the party elite, not the dingy, dirty hospitals that were for the common folk. Moore’s documentaries are fiction- Instead of approaching a topic with an open mind, maintaining journalistic integrity, he goes into a project with an agenda.

Michael Moore’s “films” are not documentaries. It is Jerry Springer style ambushing with a video camera. This country was not founed on the principle that you work so those who don’t can mooch off you. Re-read your history books people!!

He is a trader to this nation. Always complaining and bitching about the U.S.A. but making money off it’s citizens with his so called films. Actor’s and the rest who live in this fairy tale world that everything is ok, because they can afford too. They need to stop complaining about this country and getting rich off of it. Folks, this still the greatest country in the world! Stop being ashamed to be AMERICANS!!

Michael Moore does an amazing job of producing an income using only half truths and out right lies. That is the only problem with the capitalistic system, dumb people that are too stupid to function. A fool and their Money are soon parted, But Not MY fault! Must be the capitalistic System’s fault!
