Paula is leaving American Idol. Should Kara be the one leaving?
“American Idol” just got 50 percent lamer.
Judge Paula Abdul, everyone’s favorite pint-sized pop star, announced last night that she won’t return to “American Idol.”
Abdul broke the news to fans on her verified Twitter page.
With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to #IDOL
She goes on to say:
I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day1become an international phenomenon.

Paula’s announcement comes shortly after news broke that Idol host Ryan Seacrest scored a ‘gillion’ dollar contract and that controversial new judge Kara DioGuardi will be sticking around.
Who would you rather see off the show?

Supposedly Paula was offered 10 million dollars to return, and she wanted 20 million. What kinda money do you already have to turn down a 10 million dollar offer? And she says she’s not on anything?!?!?!? Right!!!

I know Paula can be kind of ditzy, but it was nice to have someone on the show that always had something nice to say and can see the good in folks. That’s a gift and not everyone has it. It’s easy to be mean. You can tell by the comments that will come to follow or that’s been said already. I myself decided not to watch the next season. It’s all seeming a little shady to me right now. Everyone knows that show was rigged last season, so what’s the point of voting. As for the new judge Kara, not impressed with her. She’s a Simon wanna be. Her shutting down the bikini girl last year on the finale was hilarious though, but that’s about the only highlight about her from last season.

It’s always difficult to see a familiar face leave any show … IDOL just lost my interest. This new judge, Kara DioGuardi, doesn’t show me any reason to continue watching.

Just give it another minute…this “decision” to leave Idol will make a complete turnaround. She’ll change her mind and will probably get 15 million to stay.

I believe that she will eventually be back with the show. I hate to see all that beauty leave.

No, you don’t “here” anything about her other than she had an inappropriate relationship with a contestant in a previous season, she appears to be stoned half the time and you’re left scratching your head trying to figure out what she just said….other than that she’s a saint!

So, the judge who was obviously drunk, the judge who was always on some sort of downers, who constantly appeared out of it and ready to fall asleep at a moments notice gets the support of all the mouth-breathers who watch this show in the US. She was and still is an absolute wreck, and a dumb wreck at that for turning down $10 million? She got lucky in the first place by being a nobody cast into a show that exploded beyond anybody’s imagination and she thinks she is gonna get a 10 mil salary someplace else?

Paula, Simon, Randy & Ryan are the ones that made Idol successful. Kara did nothing for the show. 4 was too many judges and they had to cut short their opinions. They shouldn’t have tried to fix something that wasn’t broke. Dump Kara, and get Paula back or it will go downhill from here on.

Kara is a B**ch. Paula is far from perfect. Who among us is? But she has a good heart and underneath it all is a good person. Prior contestants have called the “Mother Hen” and say she looks out for them more than the others. Think your gonna’ get that from Kara? They need to keep Paula.
