Reports: Former OC star held in psychiatric ward
There maybe new sad news to report about actress Mischa Barton.
The former “OC” star is being held involuntarily in the psychiatric ward at LA’s Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to Access Hollywood sources.
Barton’s people have not confirmed why the 23-year-old British born starlet is in the hospital, saying only that she “remains hospitalized, as per the recommendation of her doctor,” E Online reported.
Police reportedly received a non-emergency call for a medical issue from Barton’s home Wednesday, June 15. If she is in the psychiatric unit, she can be kept there 72 hours involuntarily.
Barton had been set to appear in New York for the premiere of her new flick “Homecoming.”

This is not newsworthy. Because it is mental health it has a stigma and Kellee above takes a cheap shot. Mental health is no different from any other health condition. Hope she gets well.By Carol

I meant to say that Carol is some mean hearted b***h that is advocating suicide. She misquoted me, but I did not misquote her. …suicide is painless…it brings on many changes…Carol is correct in her statement about clothes and natural selection. The empathy from Jack is laughable. Most of Hollywood needs to be in the ward she’s in. Jack can then visit all of his narcissistic psycho friends at once. Jacks depression about it all is merely anger without enthusiasm. Jack almost had a psychic girlfriend, ….but she left him before they met. Do not take your meds, Jack. We need you lucid and ready to spring to the attack. Deal?
