Sun: Jackson emaciated, bald and full of pills at time of death

UPDATE: Seems like the Sun either received bad info or simple made a bunch of stuff up.

The Los Angeles coroner’s office says details released by the Sun are bogus and came neither from a private or the county autopsy, The LA Times reports.

If the London Sun has it right (let’s hope it doesn’t), the King of Pop was a mere shell of his former self when he died Thursday.

The newspaper, reporting on an apparently leaked autopsy report, says that Michael Jackson was bald and a ” virtual skeleton,” weighing just 112 pounds.

The ‘Thriller’ singer’s 5 foot 10 inch body was full of needle marks and bruises, the Sun story says.

Pills were the only thing found in his stomach as Jackson only ate one meal a day, the newspaper reports.

Let’s not draw any conclusions. I hope that when the second autopsy is performed the family will not hide the truth. If it is drugs that killed him, then they need to share this to make sure it never happens to another person who is shielded from the real world. Seems like Britney Spears had a similar situation & her family stepped in. It needs to stop with MJ.

I just hate it when ever anything happens to an African American, Al sharpton and Jessi Jackson has to get in front of the camera. I like for them to shut up and sit down.

Perhaps the family hopes the 2nd autopsy shows that MJ was actually a robust 175lbs, with a full head of hair, so that they can maintain their suspicions of foul play. MJ apparently was a train wreck, and as painful as it will be for the family, they should accept reality and not try to make this someone else’s fault. That won’t allay their grief one bit.

I believe in the end everything will show that it was Michael who killed himself, by accident or not.

I think MJ was anorexic, that explains his thinness and baldness if that is true. One Meal a day? Please!!!!!!

My sentiments exactly Jerry. However, to add to that, I have a sinking feeling from all indications that the suns report is probably right.

If Michael only ate one meal a day and prepared for a tour then he was malnourished giving his heart a real trial. If doing any pills on top of that then there is no way he could sustain. His close and personal Doctors should have warned of the stress of malnourishment. He was such a talent.

Aluminum ... it's not just for foil [things to do]

The Aluminum Show

Steel yourself for this space-age mix of Blue Man Group, Cirque and Stomp. The offbeat production is no musical, although music is part of it. "The Aluminum Show" is a combination of dance, design, optical illusion, visual gag, sculpture, puppeteering and pantomime. The six cast members and four stage assistants in it manipulate or wear various-sized Slinky-like ducts, tubes and other metallic objects and shapes. It's the next attraction in the Broadway series at the Victoria Theatre, First and Main streets, running through March 21. More »

LIke Asian food? Here are some restaurants worth trying [restaurants]

Asian food

The Miami Valley's Asian dining scene continues to welcome impressive newcomers as it blossoms and diversifies. Dayton-area Asian food enthusiasts now have access to great diversity of dishes and cuisines. Chinese cuisine dominated the Asian dining landscape 20 years ago and remains a potent force. But today there are far more Thai and Korean options available locally, and Vietnamese and Japanese restaurants, including sushi bars, have increased. Here's a sampler platter of a few of the relatively new (or newer) Asian restaurants well worth trying. More »
