Jon&Kate production on hold until August
TLC is stopping production of Jon & Kate Plus 8, following Monday night’s televised announcement of the couple’s impending divorce. The network said next week’s episode will be a “clip package” with some “new footage” — the next all-new episode will air Aug. 3. The Los Angeles Times reported that the decision was the network’s — not the family’s.
This year, six episodes of the 40-episode season have aired. Both Kate and Jon said Monday night that they would continue the show: Kate even gamely declared, “The show must go on!”
Jon & Kate Plus 8 is TLC’s highest-rated show. Its May premiere drew in 9.8-million viewers, a record for the network.

How would you feel about ‘the show going on’ if the children actually shared in the 3,000,000 pot? And do you know that they don’t? Perhaps there is a trust fund for each of the kids already set up from previous seasons. (I’m not holding my breath on that, though.)By Stormy

CHANGING THE SUBJECT …Does anyone know why Kate’s parents, her siblings or relatives are not in her life or the children’s lives. I had heard that her father was minister and that her parents did watch Cara and Mady while she as in the hospital delivering the sextuplets? Does the estrangement have to do with her with her greed? As for the show being postponed i’m glad too bad it won’t be taken off the air. I no longer watch the show and I feel there are alot other familllies which are much more deserving of the money and perks. Maybe if all of us stop watching the show, the ratings will go down and then soon it will off the air. Jon and COLD HARD CASH Kate are all about greed; selfishness NOT TO MENTION their sarcasm and demeaning behavior with each other and at their children—isn’t that abuse when it inflicted on the children. Where are the Child advocates— is someone paying them off? I’m Too Young to be a father and FakeOcto-mom who really show what family values are all about.By Chris

Greedy kate’s ” THE SHOW MUST GO ON” comment really speaks volumes about her priorities— what I think she is really saying BooHOO-HOO! Please Please! keep watching my show because it’s all about ME! ME! ME! and SHOW ME THE MONEY! because I ‘m a damaged individual and I brought eight more into the picture.and even though my father was a minister and taught wholesome ideas; I decided not to listen and only wanted to get what I wanted even it meant at someone else’s exspense—like my family, my parents, my siblings, and even my friends. THOSE people who helped me unconditionally and if they didn’t do what I wanted, I REPAYED THEM ALL by spitting in their faces and said Begone and I am not sorry for it.—because like she once said “even after when everyone leaves us, we will still have the ten of us.” Personally I think Jon just wants to wash his hands of the show and do his own selfish thing and he probably wanted to get the papers filed more than she— maybe out of revenge at her to screw up the show —he says he “doesn’t hate Kate” but there is a But andBy marcia

This is a sad affair, for sure. Kate is deluding herself if she thinks that the show didn’t have anything to do with the way things went with her marriage. I say it had everything to do with their marriage. Fame and money went to her head. Jon wanted out of the spotlight and in last season’s finale he said so but she couldn’t picture not having the show. Maybe Jon went a bit passive-aggressive about it by jumping ship and going into the arms of some hot new and young woman. Personally, I think that’s what has burned Kate up and she went right for the divorce. You’ve heard about a woman scorned…By Christy

Kate does have a trade, she is an RN before she had kids. But seriously they need to quit the show and concentrate on their kids.
