It is confirmed, Jon and Kate are divorcing
Stick a fork in it, Jon and Kate Gosselin are done.
The stars of TLC’s hit show ” Jon & Kate Plus Eight” used Monday’s much hyped episode to announced they are separating.
A screen shot at the end of the show indicated that the couple, happy no more, has filed for a divorce.
People.com reported early Monday that papers starting a legal split had been filed Monday afternoon in Bucks County Courthouse in Doylestown, Penn.
The show will apparently now be filmed as Jon plus eight and then Kate plus eight.
“I will not lie down and die,” Kate said, adding that she will survive and her kids will survive.

It’s her stupid haircut that made them separate. She looks like someone spooged on a Wookie. And don’t get me started on Jon! The contrived daddy dates. I wonder how much better their relationship would be if they didn’t have cameras in their face all the time. When you are in the public eye constantly, your attitude and character will change for the audience. I think that’s what happened.By Gwyn

I’ve never seen the show, so it may not be fair to comment, but what is entertaining about watching some joe schmoes raise 8 kids? Why is this crap on the air? Has reality tv made us so voyeuristic that we think watching the Old Woman in the Shoe do chores is exciting? What’s next, watching grass grow? The sooner we ditch this stuff for more quality scripted television the better.By Susan

I think it is super funny that all of you commenters have such judgemental minds! From the time the show started-and even in earlier home video footage- Kate has not changed a bit! In the interviews, she always looked at him with loving eyes. He hardly ever made eye contact. People grow apart, it is very sad, but very true. I pray they work out their differences and find “peace” with each other, and continue on with the never ending fight called marriage. No one ever said marriage is easy or a smooth ride, and if so, they were on drugs! Instead of all of us judging, why don’t we hope for the best- FOR THE CHILDREN involved! And p.s. Amelia Robinson… The screen shot did NOT indicate they were “divorcing”, rather it stated they were DISSOLVING their marriage. There is a HUGE difference and for a reporter, we should be able to expect better and more accuracy.By Lyn

Boy, Christy, kinda cranky, aren’t we? People are judging because it’s a stupid decision to make money off raising a family, and these nitwits undertook this willingly. It appears that Jon has figured out that he’s 32 and has 8 kids. So now he want something else? He doesnt want to talk to his wife but seems to be looking forward to his ‘new’ life. Wish the kids had a voice in that decision. I feel for Kate. She’s not perfect but then none of us are. Grow up Jon…you made your bed, lie in it.By Jill

So Jon thinks oh I am 32 I have 8 Kids. I haven’t had my chance to live. Maybe the grass is greener on the other side? I realize people change. But honestly he needs to suck it up and be a man. Jon knew how Kate was when he married her. I am going through the same thing after almost five years my wife decided she wanted to decide if the grass was greener on the other side. We only have two kids and it’s horrible. Kids need stability in there lives. Maybe after some time apart Jon will realize what he is leaving.
