Carradine’s death may have been accident
David Carradine’s death continues to get more mysterious. On Friday, Thai police said that the 72-year-old actor’s body was found in a luxury hotel room closet with a rope tied to his neck and genitals.
They added that his death may have been caused by accidental suffocation.
“The two ropes were tied together,” Police Lt. Gen. Worapong Chewprecha said. “It is unclear whether he committed suicide or not or he died of suffocation or heart failure.” Results from Friday’s autopsy will not be ready for at least three weeks because the cause of death remains unclear.
Police initially said they suspected Carradine, best known for his role as Kwai Chang Caine on the 1970s TV series Kung Fu, had committed suicide, despite the actor’s close friends and family’s strong denials. (He had been in Thailand shooting a movie, Stretch.)
“All we can say is, we know David would never have committed suicide,” Tiffany Smith — of Binder & Associates, his management company — told the Associated Press. “We’re just waiting for them to finish the investigation and find out what really happened. He really appreciated everything life has to give … and that’s not something David would ever do to himself.”

Lance Armstrong welcomes Baby No. 4
Lance Armstrong and girlfriend Anna Hansen welcomed a 7 lb., 5 oz, 20-inch-long baby boy named Max, the pro cyclist announced on his Twitter page Thursday night - or, rather, the little guy announced it himself.
“Wassup, world? My name is Max Armstrong and I just arrived. My Mommy is healthy and so am I!” says the post, which includes a photo of the baby in a cap and sticking his tongue out.
In another post, Armstrong includes a photo of the nurse and doctor who helped deliver Max. “They were amazing!!” writes Armstrong.
The seven-time Tour de France winner and cancer survivor, who is making a comeback to pro cycling, announced last December that he and Hansen were expecting their first child together. He has three children with ex-wife Kristin. The children were conceived through in vitro fertilization with sperm frozen prior to Armstrong undergoing chemotherapy for testicular cancer.
