NBC plans Thursday night SNL specials

NBC will air three Thursday night specials “for fans who can’t get enough signature ‘Saturday Night Live’ humor in this current political landscape.”
For the next three Thursdays (starting tonight!), tune in for live half-hour shows at 9:30 p.m. They will be in a “Weekend Update” format, with surprise commentators.
Here’s the NBC hype: “The live nature of the show will provide an energy and humor that is destined to be watercooler talk the next morning!”
Unplug your cable, Time Warner subscribers, hook up your antenna and get in on the action. No, wait! We’ve made it even easier — click here to get your NBC fix.

As I understand it, CH2 wants to be paid by TWC for their programming. TWC is resisting and that would seem to be good. If they pay CH2, I assume all other programmers will want to be paid…and the consumers will, sooner or later, see TWC rate increases. I say TWC is working on our behalf on this one.By Maxxie

Hey Drew, You can get it for free. If Time Warner raises the rates to pay for what channel 2 wants then your cheep a*s will be paying more. they are giving out rabbit ears for free at Time Warner by the Dayton Mall if you have to have Channel 2. But if you hold on for a little while They will reach an agreement because Channel 2 will not be able to survive without the viewers and the revenue $$’s they are losing everyday without Time Warner. Also you can catch these shows on the internet.
