Stars turn out against animal cruelty
It’s not on OUR ballot — Ohio’s still deciding between the Big Two — but California and its movie stars turned out over the weekend in support of the state’s Proposition 2 at a “Making History Under the Stars” gala hosted by Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi. Prop 2 is the Californian Prevention of Farm Cruelty Act which aims to help stop animal cruelty, improve health and safety, support family farmers, and protect air and water. All good stuff.
The star-studded fete was held in Bel Air, bringing out such passionate advocates as Heather Graham, James Cromwell, Amy Smart, Jared Leto and a bevy of others all with the same call of concern.
