No NBC? Here’s SNL’s Biden-Palin debate

While Time Warner and LIN work on getting us back our “30 Rock,” “Chuck,” “The Office” and possibly even a few “Law & Orders,” we’re dependeng on the network Web site for our fix of “Saturday Night Live” election coverage. And really, maybe this is the best way to watch the thing. Just the highlights, please. Nobody stays the whole 90 minutes.

Needless to say, Tina Fey continues to eerily channel Mrs. Palin.

Tina Fey signs book deal

Is there nothing she can’t do? Tina Fey, already the busiest of stars thanks to her Emmy-winning role in “30 Rock” and definitive impersonation of Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin, is working on a book.

According to two publishing officials with knowledge of the negotiations, Little, Brown and Company will release a book of humorous essays by the 38-year-old Fey. Her many writing credits include “30 Rock” and “Saturday Night Live,” and the feature film “Mean Girls.”

Nobody’s talking details, citing confidentiality.

Misty May-Treanor DWTS future uncerrtain

dwts3_240x320.jpg

We don’t know whether to call her Olympic gold medalist Misty M-T or Dancing with the Stars’ Misty M-T, but either way, she’s in trouble.

Beach volleyball champ Misty May-Treanor, 31, was injured Friday, Oct. 3 — and it has yet to be determined if she will be able to continue competing on DWTS.

“May-Treanor sustained an injury on Friday and received immediate medical attention,” said an ABC statement Saturday. “Despite previous reports, she did not break her ankle.”

Regarding her condition, ABC said, “She is resting comfortably at home. Doctors will reevaluate her condition on Monday and determine the outcome of her participation on the show.”

She’s not the first contestant to be injured on Dancing. Last season, actor Cristian de la Fuente snapped a tendon in his left bicep, but was able to continue on the show with his arm in a sling. Earlier this season, comedian Jeffrey Ross suffered a corneal abrasion in a mishap with partner Edyta Sliwinska. Pro dancer Karina Smirnoff also sprained her ankle during a rehearsal with partner Rocco Di Spirito.

“Survivor” isn’t this dangerous.

Amelia's Bistro, Bellbrook, restaurant review [review]

Call it comfort food, gourmet style. From crab raviolis with vanilla lobster sauce, to a hand-cut and brined pork chop served with a fig jam, to a simply "Big-Ass Cake" that's a chocolate lover's dream, Amelia's has the potential to become a destination restaurant — worth the drive to Bellbrook.
