Castroneves, who charmed judges and the audience with his enthusiasm and infectious smile, is accused by a federal grand jury of siphoning millions of dollars in income to a Panamanian shell company from 1999 to 2004. Now we know why he was smiling ….

Sharon Stone denies weird botox story

Sharon Stone denies ever recommending that her 8-year-old son get Botox treatments for foot odor, the actress’s lawyer says in a statement. “Sharon Stone never made this statement. It is a complete fabrication,” says attorney Martin Singer.
The widely reported comment was contained in court papers as part of Stone’s custody tangles with ex-husband, Phil Bronstein. The judge cited the alleged remark as an example of Stone’s overreaction to son Roan’s medical issues. (That’s him with Mom in the above photo.)
Stone, 50, lost a bid to move her son from Bronstein’s home in San Francisco to her house in Los Angeles. Singer said that despite the judge’s decision, the former couple’s original custody arrangement remained in place.
“Sharon Stone sought to modify her custody arrangement with her ex-husband by having her son spend most of the school year with her,” says Singer. “Although the court denied Sharon’s request to modify the custody arrangement already in place, Sharon will maintain the same custody arrangement and visitation that she’s had with her child for the past several years and still has joint legal and physical custody of her son,” the attorney added. “Sharon loves her son Roan and only wants the best for him.”
The judge cited one of Bronstein’s previous legal filings as the source of the Botox remark. Since that filing was sealed, it was not clear when, or to whom, Stone allegedly said it. Bronstein’s attorneys have declined to comment.

Watch: Sarah Palin’s talent competition
She plays the flute, and she’s not half bad.
This video is from Sarah Palin’s (then Sarah Heath) 1983 (or was it 1984?) Miss Alaska pageant competition. Nothing to be ashamed of here — playing the saxophone didn’t hurt Bill Clinton.
Earlier, a video of Palin’s swimsuit competition surfaced. Watch it here — nothing to be ashamed of there, either.

Rape joke backfires on Sandra Bernhard
Sandra Bernhard has never been accused of playing it safe, but this time she went too far.
A women’s shelter cut her from its annual benefit after she said Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin would be gang-raped if she ever visited New York. Bernhard made the remarks in August during her one-woman show in Washington before Palin visited New York to campaign. Bernhard said Palin would be “gang-raped by my big black brothers” during a diatribe in which she also criticized Palin for opposing abortion rights.
Many guests at Rosie’s Place, a Boston shelter, have been victims of violence, public relations director Leemarie Mosca said. “In light of our mission, we don’t think violence against women is a laughing matter,” she said.
In a statement on her Web site, Bernhard said the gang-rape comment was part of a larger piece from her show about “racism, freedom, women’s rights, and the extreme views of Gov. Sarah Palin — a woman who doesn’t believe that other women should have the right to choose.”
Whatever. Kudos to the shelter. Good call.

Larry Flynt cooks up some “Palin” porn
Larry Flynt, Hustler founder and freedom of speech advocate, has produced an X-rated movie using an adult-film actress who resembles Sarah Palin. Flynt’s producers posted an anonymous help-wanted ad on Craigslist in L.A. just days after the Republican convention. “Looking for a Sarah Palin look-alike,” read the ad, “for an adult film to be shot in the next 10 days.” The actress would be paid $3,000 for the part, said the ad.
Tina Fey did not apply.
Flynt’s spokesman confirmed to the New York Daily News that that the film has been shot, but the title remains under wraps. Humorist Mo Rocca has some ideas: “Juneau You Want It” and “Northern Xxxposure.”
Flynt has never hidden his liberal views. In his 2005 book “Sex, Lies and Politics: The Naked Truth,” he eviscerated the Bush administration for what he saw as its violations of U.S. freedoms guaranteed under the Bill of Rights.
