Janet Jackson gets lapful of vomit, hospitalized

s-DUPRI-large.jpg

In two apparently unrelated events, believe it or not.

First, courtesy of Page Six (New York Post):

Jermaine Dupri had a little too much of a good time celebrating his 36th birthday. Dupri and his squeeze, Janet Jackson, went to Tenjune, where, spies say, they shared bottles of Jay-Z’s Ace of Spades Champagne and Patron tequila with Ne-Yo, Busta Rhymes and Ice-T — until Dupri “vomited in Janet’s lap. Ms. Jackson bolted out of the scene and sped off in her chauffeured Maybach.” A rep for Jackson and Dupri didn’t return calls. A rep for Tenjune declined to comment.

Meanwhile, Dupri is under some stress at work. The head of urban music for Island/Def Jam put out his lady’s last album, “Discipline,” which flopped. Our insider said, “(Label chief) L.A. Reid had wanted to make changes to the album, make it fresher with some newer artists added in, but Janet said no — and Jermaine backed her up. He looks silly right now.”

Then came this, from People.com:

Janet Jackson has been hospitalized, a rep said Monday. The singer “got suddenly ill during the sound check” before her concert in Montreal and had to be rushed to the hospital. Jackson, 42, is being monitored at the hospital, and hopes to reschedule the show. No further information was given about Jackson’s condition.

Jermaine how do you just puck in Janet’s lap? How gross, I have heard of having fun but at least do not embarrass yourself in the presence of an icon like Janet.

Puh-leeeze!! I’m trying to eat supper here! What’s a flopped album have to do with puking in her lap? She’s still got a nice voice but she needs to slow down as we know she’s no spring chicken and her dance needs to be updated along with her material. She should have listened to Babyface!!

Just another occasion where Janet is using the media. This time to take attention away from the fact that her boyfriend puked in her lap. YUK!
