Chris Kattan hosed for 59-day marriage

s-SUNSHINE-TUTT-KATAN-large.jpg

This was somebody’s favorite mistake: Chris Kattan and Sunshine Tutt were only married for 59 days — but that doesn’t mean she isn’t going home with a nice consolation prize.

Sources say there was a prenup that would’ve given Tutt less than $10,000, but a renegotiation just shot that through the six-figure roof. Tutt’s lawyer, Ronald Richards, told us: “My client is very relieved that she can leave this two month marriage with some resources that will allow her to rebuild her life.”

DJ AM released from burn unit

s-DJ-AM-large.jpg

Celebrity disc jockey DJ AM has been released from a Georgia hospital after suffering severe burns in a fiery plane crash a week ago, a spokeswoman for the musician said Friday, Sept. 27.

“While he is deeply saddened by the events he is thankful for all of the love and support he has been receiving from fans and friends,” spokeswoman Jenni Weinman said. DJ AM, whose real name is Adam Goldstein, and former Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, were rushed to a burn hospital in Augusta, Ga., after their Learjet crashed on takeoff from a Columbia airport. Doctors have said they expect both men to fully recover.

Two pilots and two other passengers who were close friends of the musicians were killed in the crash just before midnight Sept. 19.

A hospital spokeswoman would not say when Barker was expected to be released, but his friend Jermaine Dupri said it would be about two weeks. The head of the burn hospital said it can take up to one year to heal from the second- and third-degree burns the men suffered. But Dr. Fred Mullins said he didn’t expect it to take that long for the musicians to heal.

Listen to Britney’s new song

Britney Spears’ new single “Womanizer” debuted on NYC’s Z100-FM this morning, Sept. 26. In the song, Spears sings, “Boy don’t try to front / I-I know just just what you are -r-r,” making nice use of a cute, little well-executed stutter.

Spears shot a steamy music video for the song at Takami Sushi & Robata Restaurant and Elevate Lounge in L.A. Wednesday.

“Womanizer” is the first single from her new album, Circus, which will drop on December 2, coinciding with her 27th birthday.

Give “Womanizer” a shot — to hear, click here. Be patient — it takes a while, then ignore Chris Rock, then be a little more patient. Then, if you feel like it, tell us what you think. It goes like this, “womanizerwomanizerwomanizer.” Except singing.

Dupri: Barker out of hospital in 2 weeks

dupri_barker.jpg

After last Friday’s devastating plane crash that killed four people and critically injured DJ AM and Travis Barker, Jermaine Dupri says his friend Barker is doing well. “He’s doing good, he’s gonna be all right. He’s just got a lot of healing to do,” said Dupri, who visited the former Blink 182 drummer in the hospital last weekend.

Dupri said that Barker is also doing well emotionally. “He’s supposed to send a message out to everybody in a couple of days to let everybody know that he’s feeling better. He’s definitely feeling the love from everyone.”

Barker’s improved spirits could be due to his newly outfitted hospital room: “He’s just now getting everything in the hospital set up for him — iPods, computers, everything that he needs,” said Dupri, who estimates Barker will be in the hospital another two weeks. “You got to make sure he is comfortable.”

Dupri, a music producer, is Barker’s partner in the So So Def clothing line. He says he has no doubt his friend will fully recover. “I think everything will be cool when I get back there (to see him). He’ll probably be up and talking crazy and all that — back to his old self.”

Shia LaBeouf escapes DUI charge

shia_labeouf.jpg

Shia LaBeouf, 22, won’t face DUI charges for the July 27 car accident that crushed his hand, despite being cited with misdemeanor DUI while still in the hospital.

“After reviewing the case, we’ve declined to file any charges due to insufficient evidence,” said a DA spokeswoman. Instead, they’ll go after the other driver, who was found to have run a red light.

Although the DA rejected the case, LaBeouf still faces a DMV hearing today and the possible suspension of his driver’s license. “When an individual refuses to take a blood alcohol test, that person’s license is automatically suspended for six to nine months,” a sheriff’s department spokesman said.

At the Sept. 16 premiere of his new movie Eagle Eye, LaBeouf’s hand was in a white protective guard and he kept it in his pocket most of the night. “I’m just propped up right now to do Transformers 2,” LaBeouf said. “Then, when I get another surgery, I’ll start recovering. Right now, I’m getting through.”

Hayden Panettiere’s dad charged

hayden_news_6.jpg

“Heroes” star Hayden Panettiere’s dad, Alan, was charged with misdemeanor battery after he allegedly assaulted his wife last month.

Panettiere, 49, will be arraigned on Oct. 11. He faces up to a year in county jail if he’s convicted.

Alan Panettiere was arrested Aug. 11 at the family’s West Hollywood home after he “struck his wife (Lesley Vogel) one or two times on the cheek causing bruising with a closed fist,” a sheriff’s spokesman said. The couple had returned from a charity event hosted by their daughter. Another sheriff’s official confirmed that alcohol was involved.

Shortly after he was released on bail, Alan Panettiere told Extra the incident was a “misunderstanding” and that “nothing actually happened.” Hayden, 19, downplayed the incident, saying, “It was blown way out of proportion by a sheriff who wanted his 15 minutes of fame.” Make that half an hour.
