Clay Aiken says he’s gay. Satisfied?

people__oPt.jpg

Yawn.

Still, the American Idol people-pleaser has come out in the latest issue of People. Perez Hilton had the scoop, so credit where credit’s due — and that’s why his name is stamped all over the image above.

Anyway. This is news? Somebody should have told him we already knew. And didn’t really care.

UPDATE: Here’s a story about supportive Idolers. And here’s a story about supportive fans. One more — here’s a link to Clay’s own Web site. Beware. His hair looks a little “Interview with a Vampire”-ish.

No, we don’t care. He’s a great talent & his personal life is up to him.

That’s the truth, R. Taylor. It’s a shame people have to “declare” themselves. Just be yourself, Clay, and keep making music!!

Big whoop. If he revealed he lip-synched on American Idol, now THAT would be news.

Oh thank God, now I can sleep at night. I was so worried. With all the other real problems in the world, who really gives a crap about this fanouk???? Take his kid away too.

HELLO!!! This is no surprise to me as he has exhibited feminine qualities since first appearing on American Idol. The marriage and baby are just a cover up.

Michael Jackson has spent his life trying to be white. He’d NEVER admit to being black.

Um, Lee — how is he “covering up” if he’s broadcasting the fact? Oh, and there are lots of gay guys out there who have no feminine qualities whatsoever.

Poor Clay, he was the last to know.
