See Tina Fey channel Sarah Palin on SNL

Former head writer Tina Fey, now the star/creator/brains behind “30 Rock,” returned to Saturday Night Live to play Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin for the premiere of the show’s new season. Fey nailed the hair, the accent, and the babiliciousness of the Alaska governor; Amy Poehler’s Hillary Clinton paled in comparison (look closely and you’ll notice Poehler’s belly - she’s quite pregnant).

That little “show the boobs” twist maneuver was worth an Emmy for Tina Fay.

Too bad Tina Fey isn’t the Republican VP nominee…I might consider voting for McCain.

“babiliciousness” is a new word, what could it mean? Is it a word that means something nice like say “hussein”? Hmmm…I don’t think so.

John S. McCain Shame, shame, shame. You first lost your honor, And now your good name. You’re not needed to reign. Barack will relieve us, Of much of our pain. He knows how to lead, With a change that is sane. So our pride can remain. But, John S. McCain’s Just more of the same. Shame, shame, shame.

“…and I can see Russia from my house!” Tina Fey was brilliant! Her Palin is so good that for the first few seconds on Saturday night, I wasn’t sure if that was Fey or if they had somehow coaxed Palin into doing a skit! That one will go down in SNL history as one of their greatest satires EVER! I’ve seen that video dozens of times, and I still can’t stop laughing!
