Sarah Palin’s a doll. Literally.

sarah-palin-doll-b.jpg

Action-hero versions of Alaska governor and vice-presidential candidate Sarah Palin are hitting the (online) shelves, immortalized by HeroBuilders.com. There are three versions: One in a black pantsuit ($27.95); one in a school-girl uniform ($29.95) and one reminiscent of spy-movie Mr. and Mrs. Smith, complete with black trenchcoat and gun holster ($29.95).

Each doll has the same head: A smiling Palin with her signature glasses and up-‘do hairstyle. Don’t know about the red bra in the doll pictured (above right), but it’s a pretty good likeness. Dead caribou sold separately.

Wow. I like how her bra is showing, skirt is very short, belly button is exposed and how the overall appearance is that of a character on the movie “Striptease.” Someone must be thinking highly of this woman. Someone somewhere. Definately not at Hero Builders.

Does it come with the shotgun for her daughters wedding?

Another attempt by left-wing liberals to inject sexism into the campaign. How about a doll of Obama singing “Mammie”? You guys are really afraid of her, aren’t you? You should be, she has Obama way out-classed.

To Rich: Please read your comment again. You missed your own discrimnatory line. Maybe it’s just the misguided Facist rhetoric that makes people stumble over their thoughts. At least you maintain a negative “Rovian” tone. Women should be indignant over how Sarah Palin is being used politically and McCain for employing the same false, divisive tactisc used against him. He’s a prisoner again, but this time to own ambition and party lies.

Do you really think this “doll” will make people vote for Obama? The doll is offensive to women, and women make up the majority of voters in these United States. Be very afraid, Obama. We see through your rhetoric.

Randy, did it ever occur to you that McCain picked her because she agreed with him on CHANGE and WORKING ACROSS PARTY LINES and GOING AGAINST THE GOOD OL’ BOYS EVEN IF THEY ARE OF HER OWN PARTY? At least the women can see it, check out the latest polls.

RICH, No, I do not think it occurred to anyone that McSame picked her becuase she agreed with change, yadda yadda yadda. He met her twice in his life, had completely vetted several other potential veep picks and then at the last minute picked her. Even the campaign admitted it was last minute and the veep nomination speech had to be modified because it was originally written for a MAN. Now what is this junk you are talking. This pick was strictly political - the chick does NOT even understand Freddie and Fannie. Oh yeah, if they win and McCain croaks - we are SCREWED.

Molly, I was so angry when McCain announced Palin as his running mate. McCain was desperate and pandering for the female vote, what he got was horny men deciding to vote for “the hottie”.

I was wondering how long it would take for them to come out with the “Caribou Barbie” doll. Before two weeks ago, nobody knew she existed. I am all for a woman with the right qualifications to be next in line for the Presidency or to be President. Too bad Sarah isn’t that woman.

The doll is worse than some stars pictures. McCain will try anything to get elected even if is using a woman for the male vote. Looks don’t make a good vice-president.

Squirrelly, If you believe that, the people of Alaska have a bridge to nowhere for you to buy. The State of Alaska is rife with political corruption that’s centered on oil. Ted Stevens has been in Congress about 10 years longer than McCain, and Steven’s son remains under the control of Lobbist in the Alaskan Statehouse for Dad and party. She didn’t change that, she embraced it! The Neo-cons who have stolen the Republican Party from the moderates, lead the parade of corrupt politicians in Washington, again for big oil. Sarah Palin taking on her own party in Alaska was for increased oil royalties from increased drilling in Anwar. She wanted more royalties, her party did not. Those royalties she was fighting her party for are paid to every Alaskan citizen and have been since the pipeline was put in. The oil companies don’t pay the royalty, every American taxpayer pays it for them. McCain didn’t even try to stop that and similar giveaways in Washington. Palin wants the American taxpayer to pay more royalties to the citizens of Alaska? What change is that? How does that put country first? She’s a part of the selective Capitalistic Socialism in this country for Corporate America and other special interests. If she is such an agent of change, why didn’t she fight to have the oil companies pay the royalties from their hugh profits? She’s a “good-ol-boy” in lipstick and a poor example of positive change for the Country. After all, she did vote for the bridge before she voted against it. Oh, it’s a womans right to change her mind., not a mans. Do you want to get into family values, sex education for the young, drug use, religiousity. Palin was selected to pick-up Hillary voters and the feminist only. She’s easier to market than the ” White Haired Dude ” but still too light weight to help steer the Senate as VP. Our country has to many serious problems to address. We need truth tellers, not myth builders.

And for everyone who still support McCain/Palin, a few more words of advice. If the impending war with Iran that McCain WILL start, his consistent voting along with Bush, his constant support of the neo-con agenda like tax breaks for the wealthy, and his utterly disgusting detachment from normal society is not enough, then consider his tax proposal. Both candidates have laid out almost exactly as they plan to change our tax system, and big surprise, if you don’t make more than $200K per year you will see no benefit from McCain’s intended changes, whereas almost every poor and middle class WILL be effected positively by Obama’s plan. Open your eye’s people!!! The neo-cons have already stripped most of our first amendment rights from us in the name of fighting terror, and if they continue on their rampant destructive course we’ll be lucky if we have an America to call home when it’s all said and done.

Obama’s tax plans (specifically raising the capital gains tax) kills anyone who saves. It also does not bring any more revenue to the government. It creates more disincentives to invest creating an even bigger bubble. And people think McCain is worse on the economy than Obama? I’d rather have someone admit that they don’t know anything and defer to someone who does than someone who just makes up what they want.

McCain is using Palin for pure sensationalism. He is 72 years old and comes from that “Hey Doll” era. I bet he shook Sinatra’s hand. He hardly knows Palin. He certainly did not have her in his “rat pack” at the start of his campaign NOR will she be if he is elected. Woman do not be stupid in thinking that McCain’s era has changed its views toward woman. They have NOT! This is from someone who has worked with this type of male in business. Thanks but no thanks. Change at 72 you gotta be kidding.

Rich. What, pray tell, does this doll have to do with Obama? If that’s true then will McCain create and market the Obama doll that sings “Mammy”?Repeat after me: prejudice equals ignorance.
