Down to crunch time
In case you haven’t noticed, there’s a pretty big election going on. For any who haven’t seen it, this is our comprehensive page for all local elections stories.
Some highlights:
- We have been running daily profiles of voters across Butler County and what issues they think are important in this year’s presidential race. Here is the latest.

- Here’s a synopsis of the battle for representation of Butler County in the state Senate. It may say something about Butler County’s geographical power center that both incumbent Republican Sen. Gary Cates and Democratic Challenger Kathryn Bridgman are from West Chester Twp.
- Here’s a story that ran Friday about a huge surge of absentee voter applications in Butler County.
