The Story Changes post new tracks, ready new record
My rock n’ roll friends in the Story Changes have posted two new songs from their upcoming split LP entitled Analogies.
Due out August 4th on Destination Records, the split album will feature tracks from Dayton’s the Story Changes and Arizona’s Let Go.
The two bands have been friends and touring partners for a long time and call the album “more of a shared release than a split.”
Both bands worked with producer Jamie Woolford (Punchline / Gin Blossoms) who mixed the songs together for a consistent sound and feel. Analogies foregoes the normal approach to a split release by alternating between band from start to finish to make for a unique listen.
The new posted tracks from the Story Changes are catchy and energetic rock songs that pick up right where their 2007 album The Way of the Dinosaur left off.
To hear the tunes visit the band on myspace. To pre-order the disc visit here.
The band is currently on tour. Singer/guitarist Mark McMillon just Twittered that they are “driving west on the 74 towards Iowa listening to the Gaslight Anthem.”
