Breeders interview posted at the Buddha Den
My friends over at the Buddha Den music blog have posted part 1 and 2 of a five part interview with Kim and Kelly Deal of the Breeders.
The interview seems to be uncut and very interesting.
The band, who appeared at Shake-It records in Cincinnati on Record Store Day, talk to the Buddha Den about their new EP, Dayton, and the band’s evolution.
The Buddha Den has also posted some behind-the-scenes video of the Deal sisters home-printing the covers of their new EP entitled Fate To Fatal. As well as part of the Shake-It performance.
The interview is revealing and in-depth and Buddha Den founder, Kyle Melton, should be commended.
Breeders fans need to read this interview. Kim and Kelly speak with sincerity and honesty. I think it is good to hear the passion for music and their hometown (Dayton) that the Breeders have seemed to regain.
Maybe we can lobby the band to play at the Dayton Music Fest ‘09? Just a thought.
