Dayton Music Fest 2009 band submissions now open
From now until June 30th bands can submit their music to be apart of the Dayton Music Fest 2009. Submissions can be made at www.daytonmusicfest.com.
The annual Dayton Music Fest is set to happen in October, but planning for the event has already begun.
Organizers released a statement on Sunday, March 1st announcing the opening of submission season for DMF ‘09.
“We are working on some cool stuff for this year’s Fest and we hope to make it the best year yet,” said the DMF organizers through a bulletin on myspace.com.
“It all starts with the bands. The lineup will continue to be Dayton-centric with a few bands from Cincy, Columbus, and Indy,” according to the DMF website.
DMF 2008 featured 32 bands at seven area clubs. Nearly a thousand fans attended the one night event.
Past headliners have included Robert Pollard, Swearing at Motorists, Enon, and the Lab Partners.
