Midpoint Music Festival accepting band apps

The Midpoint Music Festival, one of the Midwest’s premier independent music festivals, is now accepting applications for bands.

The 2009 MPMF is set to be held September 24-26 in downtown Cincinnati.

In 2008 Midpoint was host to over 250 bands from around the world including headliners Bob Pollard and Mates of State.

This will be the eighth MPMF and this year the festival is expecting to expand it’s line-up.

The festival’s website states that “MPMF2009 has expanded by adding several new stages to keep up with the growing MPMF audience and the increasing quality of MPMF submissions. MPMF2009 intends to showcase the most performances of it’s history.”

Bands can apply at www.mpmf.com.

The deadline for submissions is May 1st.
