Dayton Music Fest holding poster contest

GCR Music, the promotional group who organizes the annual Dayton Music Fest in October and the upcoming Bellbrook Jamboree in May, are asking artistic local music fans to help them design the DMF ‘08 promo posters.

Through a myspace.com bulletin posted this week, GCR announced they will be taking submissions from fans for poster art beginning Friday, March 21st. Submissions can be made online at www.daytonmusicfest.com

Fans who participate have a chance to earn $100 and two free tickets to the October 4th festival that will feature over 20 bands at six local clubs.

Submissions are also currently being taken from local bands who want to play the Dayton Music Fest ‘08.

When you go to the DMF website click on the ‘nostalgia’ tab and enjoy pics from DMF ‘06 and ‘07.

They’re colorful, to say the least.
