Celebrity Pilots to play Oregon Express
Cleveland’s pysch-pop band the Celebrity Pilots are stopping by the Oregon Express on Saturday, November 10th, as part of their Fall Ohio tour.
The band is coming in support of their latest full-length entitled Spooky Action which they released earlier this year. The album, which was engineered by Todd Tobias (GBV, Robert Pollard), is a perfect-pop combo of keys and guitars like My Bloody Valentine meets the Zombies.
Frontman Chris Sheehan, who works as a Nasa Scientist during the day, has been labeled a “visionary” and has been compared to Ted Leo and Apple in Stereo’s Robert Schneider. Not the worst company to be in.
The Celebrity Pilots will be in Cincinnati at the Poison Room on Thursday. Also Thursday they will perform live on WOXY.com at around 4 pm.
Friday the band will be in Bowling Green before trudging South to Dayton Saturday.

Speaking of WOXY.com, I thought I should mention that Local Lixx is back on the air.
