The Human Reunion make first DMF appearance
The guys in the Dayton-based electro-pop band Human Reunion are definitely not green to the clubs and scenes in Dayton.
The band is composed of different members from a good handful of past and present Dayton bands including 8-bit Revival, Let’s Crash, Lab Partners, Motel Beds, Dirty Walk, Lazy, and Cigarhead.
However, this Saturday will be the band’s first appearance at the Dayton Music Fest during it’s three year history.
The band is slated to play the Tumbleweed at Saturday’s (Oct. 6th) festival.
“We’ve had a lot of fun over the last few years playing around town and the midwest with our friends Enon, Thunderbirds Are Now, the Islands, the Mae-Shi, and we are glad to be apart of the DMF,” said Human Reunion guitarist, Tim Krug.
Krug’s other project, 8-Bit Revival, played the DMF the past two years and he thought why not “give Human Reunion a go at it.”
The band has spent the last 12 months recording a full-length record with Enon mastermind John Schmersal pushing buttons in the production room.
“We have been flying, driving, and busing back and forth to Philadelphia working on finally getting a proper HR recording. We are currently shopping it around,” said Krug.
When planning your DMF trail be sure to make time to see the Human Reunion. (check previously posted schedule for times)
