Umbrella Men make finals
Back in June when the Dayton Band Playoffs began I asked a question on this very blog that I would like to ask again.
“Can a roots and folk rock two-piece possibly win the Dayton Band Playoffs?”
David and Danny Tuss, otherwise known as the Umbrella Men, are in a position to do just that.
The Umbrella Men defeated Brother Been in the semi-finals of the Dayton Band Playoffs on Wednesday night at Canal Street Tavern. The victory has put the Umbrella Men in the 2007 DBP finals against the Audible Influence.
The finals are next Friday, September 14, at Canal Street Tavern.
Both bands are very different from each other, but they are both talented and deserving of the crown.
I would say the the Audible Influence may be the favorite because they have led everyone in voting since round one.
However, the Umbrella Men have won over crowds since the beginning and should not be taken lightly.
You, the fan, will decide who wins. Go to the finals and vote for the band you think is the best.
Who is it going to be the Umbrella Men or the Audible Influence?
