Hiders to play acoustic at Peach’s
I realize that the name Alletzhouser is more than a comfortable mouthful, but I suggest that you learn and memorize it’s pronunciation.
The full name is Billy Alletzhouser and he is the front-man for the Cincinnati roots-rock band The Hiders.
The Hiders are a rising stars in the Midwest and quickly getting adds to radio playlists across the country.
Their debut cd, entitled Valentine, earned the band high acclaim and artist to watch honors on the Public Radio show Fresh Air last summer.
The band has spent much of this year working on the follow-up to Valentine and is still hoping to have their sophomore release in stores sometime this fall.
The Hiders have also had some line-up changes at drums, guitar, and bass since the last record. The new members to the band all have impressive resume’s that most notably include the Afghan Whigs and Twilight Singers.
Catch the low-toned Alletzhauser accompanied by melody-mate Beth Harris on Saturday, August 4th, at Peach’s in Yellow Springs for a rare acoustic performance.
The two will be opening for the talented Chris McCoy from Columbus. Show starts at 9pm.
