The weekend’s shows

If you spent all last weekend locked inside watching the History channel’s special on the Dark Ages, then this weekend you need to get out.

Here are a few shows to check out.

Friday, March 9th: Murmur and Andrew and the Pretty Punchers at Oregon Express; Mike Perkins Band at Canal Street Tavern; Simply Waiting and Towhee at the Forge (Huber Heights); The Spike Drivers at Peach’s; Ohio Corndaddies at Trolley Stop; Night Reign at J. Alan’s.

Saturday, March 10th: Mona and Ruetschele at Canal Street Tavern; Dr. Meat and The Professors at Peach’s; Sohio and Vanity Theft at Oregon Express; Thunder Rock at Trolley Stop; Fluwid at the Brewery.

Sunday, March 11th: Hawthorne Heights and the Chasing Game at The Attic.

Wild Breed Boys is performing traditional and original bluegrass Friday night March 23rd at The Oasis. Smokey Basement Project opening.
