Browns sign Fry to practice squad

The Cleveland Browns announced today that the team has signed OL Dustin Fry to the practice squad. The 6-foot-3, 326-pound Fry was originally a fifth-round draft choice by St. Louis in the 2007 NFL Draft. Fry played in four games last season for the Rams and spent the remainder of the season on their practice squad. Fry also spent the first eight weeks of the 2008 campaign on the Rams practice squad before being waived on Oct. 28, 2008.

Comedian/actor Eddie Griffin coming to the Funny Bone [comedy]

Whether he's doing stand-up comedy, starring in his new reality program or appearing in feature films, funnyman Eddie Griffin leaves an indelible impression. The Kansas City native performs at the Funny Bone Comedy Club Friday and Saturday, Jan. 9 and 10. Griffin is known for movie roles in films including "Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo," "Norbit" and "Scary Movie 3" as well as the UPN television series "Malcolm & Eddie."
