Ranchers in New Carlisle have the best Fries: hands down.

EO Burgers is the most underated joint in the area. They have 3-4 different flavored fries and onion rings that will make you never want to leave. Best fries HANDS DOWN.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries really does have the best fries! Fresh cut every day, golden and crispy on the outside, soft like a baked potato on the inside! YUM!

EO Burger has insanely delicious fries. Better than any I’ve had ANYWHERE. Specifically, their garlic fries. I make a special trip there for their fries sometimes. Can’t recommend them enough.

The people voting for McDonalds are obvioulsy McDonald employees coached by management to vote using their Ipods, Blackberrys etc. McDonalds has good fries, but 5 Guys is in another league.

I would have nominated Steak & Shake but did not see this in time. 5 Guys is the best on this list that I have had. McDonald’s is the fast food standard. The best things they have are the fries and the simple hamburger.

This was tough and for the most part, all the fries have something good about them. Personally, I like Penn Station the Best with Five Guys a close second. I haven’t had EO Burger , Ranchers or Tanks.

Love Tanks. I really think if you are going to have a best fry in Dayton it shouldn’t be any restaurant chain. It should just be restaurants you can only find in Dayton and the surrounding areas.

This is embarrassing for the city of Dayton. McDonalds??? Wow, we have a GREAT culinary atmosphere here in Dayton when a fast food restaurant gets votes for the best of anything. There is a reason around lunch time that all of the fast food places are packed while the better restaurants have open seating.

Best Fries in Dayton, J Alexander’s - chicken fingers and Fries - with the honey Dijon sauce, the fries are superb.

EO fries are overpriced and mediocre at best as is the rest of their menu. If you want a good local fry go to Tanks.

I can’t believe the fries at Buffalo Wings and Rings aren’t on the list! Gotta try their sloppy fries. Chili, cheese, and spicy garlic wing sauce. If you don’t have to use a fork to eat fries, then they’re just ordinary.

Admittedly I have not eaten at all the locations mentioned, but how did SmashBurgers not make the list. My family loves their fries!

The Pub at the Greene has the best Chips (aka fries) IMO.

EO fries are definitely the best. The Garlic Fries have to be the best fries I have ever tasted. The portions and the taste cannot be matched.

The fries at Nick’s in Xenia are fantastic but a Xenia restaurant probably doesn’t count. The meatballs in this town recently voted McDonalds the best burger. MORONS.

Anybody who has not had the fries (or any other food) at Blind Bob’s in the Oregon District has no idea what they are missing. Their fries, and everything else they make, are at the top of my list of all time favorites.
