Would love to see a bowling alley in the Miami Valley put in stadium seating and then be “the bowling alley” for high school matches. No fun standing on step stools!

Joe Poelking does a great job at all his bowling alleys

There is no better facility in the Dayton area than Strikezone/JD Legends in Franklin. From a bowling or entertainment perspective, they are the best — plus the owners are good “people.” If you haven’t been there to bowl, try it, but also go there for their restaurant, great outdoor tiki bar area, sand volleyball courts, and the best regional/national music acts around — I think better than the Fraze.

All the reasons JML listed are exactly why Strikezone sucks for true bowlers. It’s a great entertainment center but bowling is an after thought. The lane area is cramped and what’s up with the food service….they don’t call your name…you have to keep checking if the food is ready!!!

As an avid bowler who has been to several of the establishments listed, I think StrikeZone is the best I’ve been to. FIGJAM is correct that the food service is a bit inconvenient located in a corner, but the pros far outweigh the negatives and, as JML noted, there is so many other things to do there unlike most places. I enjoy the outdoor patio and concerts.

I Just wish walgreen would take over all the bowling alleys cause bowling isn’t a sport to many sand baggers

Where is Pla-Mor lanes. It is the best. They know your name when you walk in. Wish Royal Z lanes in Miamisburg was still here instead of Walgreens. Who needs another drugstore.
