Baer Fitness is part of Priemer Fitness.. They train out of Priemer Fitness.. I wouldn’t say it is fair to have them seperate.. I know the Middletown facility and the Dayton Mall facility, has trainers from Baer Fitness in them.. Just FYI.

The Studio Fitness also does not require memberships - they offer “pay as you go” and they definitely care whether you show up or not! All instructors are group ex and/or PT certified - the facility is top notch, too.

I train at the Studio Fitness and Drakes Gym so I’m torn because I love them both! Neither require any type of membership. Drop-in workouts are available daily.

I have tried many clubs/approaches and Studio Fitness is far more fun and effective than any other I have found. You feel like you are at a party and the results are amazing. Doug and Joan, the owners, care about each client and make sure all feel welcome. If you have not tried Studio Fitness, you NEED to.

As an avid fitness finatic with over 20 years of consistent training I can say with confidence that The Studio Fitness is top notch. I train with Doug and Joan and they are the best fitness instructors in the business!! They are energetic, fun, upbeat, safe, and highly educated!! That said, if you want a non-intimidating, fun experience stop in!!!! The smoothies are great too!!!

This is actually a question - which YMCA are people voting for? There are a few in the Dayton area, so shouldn’t the specific one be listed?? If this is for combined YMCA’s in the area, that seems a little wierd…

I have tried many types of exercise classes and fitness memberships over the years. None of them compare with Studio Fitness, it is awesome!! No membership, a great workout and a variety of classes and instructors to choose from!

Femme Fatale Fitness has transformed my life! I came there after my doctor recommended Femme Fatale as a way to fight off postpartum depression, and it was worked!!! The women of FFF not only helped me lose LOTS of weight but I also got my zest for life back. Every class is girly and fun…I have NEVER had so much fun working out!!!!!!!!

to pdg: The YMCA’s you are referring to are all 1. 12 different facilities but when you join one, you can attend all of then. The YMCA of Greater Dayton, NOW THAT IS VALUE!!!!! Also if you go on vacation and want to continue working out you can visit other Y’s in other states at no cost as well! IMO there simply is no comparison to the Y.

The key to a successful work out is to “WORK OUT”. If a facility fails to keep me motivated, I stop going. The attention and encouragement I receive from the professional instructors at Studio Fitness has kept me returning 3-4 days per week for nearly 3 years. Please take my advise as a family practice physician, continue to stay active in what ever program you like, but you got to come and experience this incredibly awesome studio.

One of the choices is really different — free, uncrowded, different every day— the trails of of great Five Rivers Metroparks! Don’t let the cold hold you back. Bundle up, pick a park and go. Englewood is a favorite with many folks. Deep forests, meadows, waterfalls, even paved trails. But all the Metroparks are great. How fortunate we are to have this this great resource.
