Tanks is the best kept secret and lets keep it that way… Don’t go there. There is no room for you at the inn! Its “our” favorite place to eat. Affordable, delish, and a melting pot of Daytonians. It’s the place where you would think everybody would know your name “Cheers” -Dayton Style

If you haven’t had Sunrise’s pancakes, you haven’t had pancakes! Their pumpkin pancakes are awesome, and their Vicki-cakes are pure delight!!!

Nugget is best for sure. Blueberry Cafe (pancakes), Brunch Club (chicken and waffles), and Tanks (hangover cures).

The Sunrise has some of the best French toast and yummy strong bottomless cups or Organic coffee. Well worth the drive to YS and a perfect place to fuel up before a hike in the Glen.

Perkins, by far, has the best ham and eggs. The 4200 Place in Moraine should be on the list. Breakfast all day and very good. Good old fashioned home cooked meals at reasonable prices.

The Brunch Club in downtown Dayton has by far the best quality and value around. The portion sizes range from small early bird specials to the huge Grandpa’s breakfast! The grilled hashbrowns with onions are amazing as well. And always service with a smile! I’m hooked.

Lisa at the Brunch club is the greatest. She is always wonderful to see, and very professional. Breakfast is always fresh, hot and delicious, I look forward to mornings that I need to be in downtown in the morning. It is great that they have the freshest omelets and great bagels.

With no microwave and no deep fryer, you know everything at THE SUNRISE is fresh off the griddle just for you. Rich, fresh, free range eggs and never frozen potatoes are always on the menu, along with one of a kind specials. Even the triple filtered drinking water used to brew the coffee is better at THE SUNRISE!!!!

The Brunch Club is definitely my favorite breakfast place. With wonderful food (the Bagels Benedict Arnold is hands down my favorite), friendly service, and comfortable atmosphere, what more could you want in a breakfast restaurant? Also, it’s especially nice that it’s a local-owned restaurant rather than a generic chain.

The Golden Nugget is way above the rest in the Dayton area for breakfast. The Thomas Family continues the traditions started by their parents, Steve and Bessie, of great food, large portions, and the most efficient and friendliest staff you will find anywhere.

I can’t believe people are voting for national chains. Try some great locally owned fresh food. I love Sunrise but this is “best of Dayton”. Brunch club has great food but a totally clueless waitstaff. Tanks has it all. Awesome food, friendly staff and Oakwood possum. Get there now before I eat it ALL!

TRY SWEET HOME! - it’s a little family style restaurant on Old Troy Pk in Huber HTS in Powell Plaza. Great atmosphere, very clean. Great combination of price, food & service. Try the “Hungry Man” breakfast platter! It’s all GOOD!

You have to try The Heights Cafe next door to the library in Huber Heights for breakfast! Unique menu. Great selection. Quality, always fresh ingredients. Friendly, courteous, efficient staff. Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere. All their food is from local sources. My wife and I are Saturday morning regulars.

Sunrise in Yellow Springs has divine chocolate french toast, decadent biscuits and gravy, and the best pancakes anywhere. Not to mention…well…everything else. And I don’t even normally like breakfast food. There’s just no contest.
