The absolute best is the “white wedding cake” from the Cake Shop in Beavercreek! It is a specialty cake and it is only around $20!

Where’s Bullwinkle’s desserts? If you like desserts, come to Bullwinkle’s in Historic Miamisburg, OH and try our Carrot cake which just melts in your mouth. Or for the chocolate lovers, our Rocky Top is tops!

We love the English Tea Cake. Our friends from Fla. visit and they always ask ……when we arrive we need to go to the Cold Water and have a Tea Cake. It’s always our pleasure to say yes,yes yes. They are sooooooooooo good.

Coldwater Cafe’ is far and above the best dessert. Their English Tea Cakes are supreme! If you haven’t tried them…you shouldn’t even be voting. Seriously!

Can’t believe Applebee’s blonde brownie isn’t on this list. It’s fantastic!

Ok, the only desserts that should even be on here are the ones that are homemade! Not the ones that come in on a freezer truck like Applebees and Olive Garden.

Just stopped in to buy some fresh bread at Granny C’s and tasted their carrot cake. Wow, it was great. I initially voted for Old Glory’s PB pie, but now just logged onto my husband’s computer and voted for the carrot cake. Yum!!!

I also think that the white wedding cake from the cake shop in beavercreek is supreme. It’s not just cake. It has a creamy filling and white chocolate shavings and the best buttercream you will ever taste. It’s beautiful. You can get a slice or order a cake for about 20 dollars. Yummy!

I can pretty much bet that all the Granny C toting people on here are employees or owners. Bullwinkles carrot cake is homemade at the restaurant, shouldn’t comment if you don’t know Sarah. Sam, that is your opinion ONLY bud!!

My favorite by far are the cheesecakes from the Cheese Cake Factory. They have other wonderful desserts as well. I had one last night and have another one in the refrigerator.

I’ve tried just about everything in Dayton. Voting is closed, but here are the facts: the Cake Shop or the Cakery is your best bet for all your cake needs. Granny C’s is certainly the best value for anything else pastry or sweet that you can think of including fresh, savory breads. Granny C’s has the best selection and if they don’t make it, just ask; I love them for that. But the best donuts (especially glazed) in Dayton went to the masters—>Patti Cakes (not in business anymore but FOREVER missed).

Its really awesome that you think patti cakes donuts were the best. let me tell you the secret to them. Its called bakemark, They came in pre fried and baked. She bought all her glaze and icing in buckets. Anyone who knows anything about making donuts….for real knows you have to fry them. :) But thanks for the tips on the other places. I will surely have to visit them sometime. PS i know for a fact about patti’s donuts because i worked for her for awhile.
