Yes there are some decent Italian eateries in the Dayton area, but Tony’s off of South High Street in Columbus puts them all to shame. Well worth the extra driving time.

If you like Troni’s, try Palermo’s on South Dixie in Kettering. The lobster ravioli and stuffed eggplant are awesome.

Best Italian Food in Town! If you haven’t eaten there you have to go. Excellent food friendly service and an awesome outside patio.

Good Italian food is the result of the best available Qality of cheeses, meats and pastas being prepared by a knowledgeable chef. Palermo’s is the epitome of this combination.

Been to most, if not all, of these. Bravo is my favorite chain restaurant but for true Italian, Mama DiSalvos is the best in the Dayton area. Haved lived elsewhere where good Italian restaurants were plentiful and Mama’s is the only one that compares here.

Palermo’s is a knockoff of Troni’s. Troni’s is the real deal where everything is made fresh everytime. Palermo’s entree’s look like soup and has a plain taste. Pizza there was soggy. Troni’s is the best bar none. Love the place!!

Palermo’s is No. 1. There are a lot of terrific Italian places in the area. But when it comes to value and taste, Palermo’s is the best. Where else can you get a gigantic Calzone or Stuffed Roll for about $8, and a huge plate of spaghetti and meatballs or sausage for under $11? Always enough food for two. And the wine prices? $20 or less for a bottle? Compare the prices and the taste. And, with the upcoming expansion this place is ready to take off. They don’t advertise, so it’s all word of mouth.

Wow it looks like the people who own palermos told all there friends to vote and comment. It is the most lame restuarant I have ever sat in. If you like that restuarant your palate is a barren dead zone.

Overall, Palarmos is probably the best. They’ve got some pros in the kitchen.
