Little Art in Yellow Springs is a GREAT theater—funky, fun, great shows MOST of the time, many award winning art shows that other places don’t won’t play, etc etc. Gets my vote!!

The Little Art has it hands down! It is now a non-profit so it has additional activities for children, contests for filmmakers, and lovely folks from the projectionists to the concession stand. It’s small and intimate and friendly.

How fortunate we are to live in Yellow Springs, Ohio, home of too many wonderful things to list here…including the uniquely magnificent LITTLE ART THEATER!

LOVE the Little Art in YS. Where else could you see a Lina Wertmüller or Fellini Festival?

while the little art is a fine miami valley tradition ….. they have some of the most uncomfortable seats ever in a local theatre ….. the sound system and screen are both in very poor shape …. the local ys audiences are apparently under the impression they are sitting at home and are welcome to talk to their friends and family during the screening. i have always enjoyed the selections offered at the little art …… but the aforementioned objections of mine keep me away. the neon, however, rocks. great movies, clean projection and sound and respectful audiences.

the movies shown at the NEON are closest to what I’d go to see when I lived in Manhattan—although the screens are bigger in NYC…

When I moved to Dayton from Columbus, I thought I’d never find another Drexel Theatre, but find it I did in the Neon!! Without the quality of film that the Neon offers, Dayton would be without a real treasure.

For 12 years we’ve enjoyed the high quality, interesting, innovative, provocative and entertaining films at The Little Art, not to mention the incredible edible concessions, the personal contact and atmosphere, and the variety of special events for children, families, and the community. You are missing the best movie experience in the Dayton area if you haven’t been to The Little Art in Yellow Springs!

The Little Art is one of Yellow Springs’ greatest treasures. It hosts incredible events, catering to filmmakers, artists, and community. I particularly enjoyed the premier of Hannah Free this year that drew a crowd from Columbus to Cincinnati. Little Art is the best!

Neon is a treasure. From the comments here, Little Arts seems to be a great place too. Will check that out.

Little Art Theatre in Yellow Springs is a great place to go; easy to reach, friendly and cordial people running it; one can really relax and enjoy all their selections (of course not everyone ever likes all types) but we really appreciate its existence! We are in a retirement village now and don’t get there as often as we would like, but we have wonderful memories of the place!

The Little Art Theater is wonderful, both in their selection of important movies, but by the friendliness with which you are greeted. I see films here that are shown only at the Neon and I don’t have to drive into Dayton and find parking to see them. We in Yellow Springs love our little community theater and will do whatever we have to do to keep it.

The Neon is the best movie theater! Friendly, helpful staff…the BEST fresh popcorn..snack prices are NOT inflated…the most unique and top rated films…I intend to go MORE often to the Neon this summer (and take friends) to make sure this jewel stays open in the tough economy.

The Little Art is a treasure. When I want to go to a movie it usually turns out that the Little Art is showing the most interesting movie in the area.

The Neon continues to offer very unique choices in films that we would not see anywhere else. We love to go there.

We don’t see many movies, but when we do the Little Art is our most frequent destination. It is a treasure for YS and the Dayton area.

We are enormously fortunate to haave the Little Art Theatre among us. They screen an interesting range of movies and are availiable to support young artists and local film-makers. There is no place else like it.

The Neon enriches the culture of our community by bringing us good movies, movies which otherwise would not have a large enough draw for the multiplex theaters to carry. It’s a theater more readily found in a larger metropolitan area, so thanks!

We think entertainment when we think of movies. I think film when I think of Little Art—documentaries covering poltics, nature, civic causes, student work, human relief, benefits—the Little Art does it all. And now it is non-profit which means we get to support it even when we’re not at the windows buying a ticket. Long Live Little Art!
