Fraze adds Nelson, Earth, Wind & Fire
Fraze Pavilion in Kettering has added summer concerts by Willie Nelson & Family and Earth, Wind & Fire.
Tickets go on sale Saturday, April 9, for both.
“An Evening With Earth, Wind & Fire,” part of the group’s 40th anniversary tour, will be at 8 p.m. Monday, June 20. Prices are $61 for the plaza, $56 in the orchestra and $36 for lawn and terrace.
Seats for Nelson’s 8 p.m. show on Thursday, Aug. 11, are $55 in the plaza and orchestra, $35 on the lawn and terrace
Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 3 p.m. Sundays at the Fraze box office, 695 Lincoln Park Blvd.

40? Try 60+! They’re doing pretty well for a small venue. Dayton is basically a retirement community, and that’s the age of the attendees. Don’t know if I would pay this much, though.

Earth Wind & Fire puts on an amazing, high-energy show. That is not a group of old dudes struggling through a show. Those guys blew me away when I saw them 2 years ago! I’ll add this to my Doobie Bros and Steve Miller concerts I’m attending at the Fraze this year. Too bad Steely Dan is going to Cincy this year. That would be another good Fraze show.

If ever the residents surrounding the Fraze had a reason to complain about the music/noise, just wait until Wee Willie takes the stage. The guy sings like he slammed his member in the door…

Earth Wind and Fire is the best concert you can ever hear.I am 24 and went to the Fraze last time they were here.High energy, constant upbeat terrific time.Can hardly wait.

I am a UD student and my girlfriends and I have seen Earth W and F five times in five cities.Definitely cool. Better than any college age group or any age group.

E W&F were fantastic, have stood the test of thyme. To me w/o Maurice White I guess they ain’t E W &F. But, I am sure it will still be a great concert

I think Willie has gone to vaporizing-inhaling his weed. Truly an American Institution. 40+ yrs ago when his Nashville home went up in flames, he made sure he ran in and saved his Hi-Test reefer!! He needs to donate his brain for post mortem analysis!
