Marsha Hanna to be celebrated
The Human Race Theatre Company will host a “Memorial Open House to Celebrate Marsha Hanna” from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 5 at The Loft Theatre, 126 N. Main St.
Hanna, who died Jan. 4 at age 59, was the company’s longtime artistic director.
A Marsha Hanna Memorial Fund will be created as part of the company’s 25th anniversary season in 2011-12.

Hanna’s family planned a service at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, at Pleasant Ridge Church, 3721 N. Ohio 101 in Tiffin, her hometown, according to Human Race Theatre executive director Kevin Moore. The burial ceremony will be private.
Arrangements in Dayton were coordinated by Larry Glickler of Bradford-Connelly & Glickler Funeral Home.

I was a student of Marsha’s when she was teaching acting at Sinclair. She was a wonderful and inspiring teacher. She will be greatly missed.
