Zoot plans whale of a show
The Zoot Theatre Company will present “Moby Dick” at 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday, April 23-25, in the Mathile Theatre of the Schuster Performing Arts Center, Second and Ludlow streets.
The original adaptation includes Bunraku-style puppetry, movement-driven special effects and a whale swimming the stage. Tickets are $17 for adults, $15 for seniors and $10 for children. Call (937) 228-3630 or go to ticketcenterstage.com.

Lineup set for Circus ‘Sideshow’
The Dayton Circus Creative Collective has announced the program for its fifth annual multimedia Sideshow from 6 p.m. to 1 a.m. May 14 and 15 at The Armory, 201 E. Sixth St.
There will be video installations, sculptures and paintings by 48 artists, 21 musical acts, five performance-art presentations and a roaming fashion show.
Opening night of Sideshow will be part of the all-downtown showcase Urban Nights.
Admission will be free, but donations will be accepted to support the event.
