Miamisburg student wins poster contest

Anna Watson of Miamisburg High School and Cassandra Courtwright of Graham Local High School have won scholarships to attend the Art Institute of Ohio — Cincinnati — as winners in the “Life Is Better With Art” poster-design competition.

Watson earned a $3,000 scholarship for finishing first. Her design will be entered into the national stage of the contest, which includes winners from across North America. Courtwright, of Urbana, earned $2,000 for second place.

The competition was open to high school seniors interested in graphic design or other disciplines.
