Richard Marx to perform at Fraze
Popular 1980s singer Richard Marx will perform a charity concert at The Fraze this summer.
The concert is on Sunday, Aug. 15 at 6:30 p.m. Tickets are $48, $36 and $22. They go on sale Saturday, April 10 at 9 a.m.
Marx hits include “Don’t Mean Nothing,” “Hold On to the Nights,” “Satisfied,” and “Right Here Waiting.”
In 2006 he joined Ringo Starr’s All-Star Band for a tour of 22 cities. Richard played guitar in the band and performed his own hits at each show.
Proceeds from the Wright-Patt Credit Union, Dayton Area Toyota Dealers and Fricker’s 13th Annual Celebrity Concert for Charity go to cystic fibrosis research and to the Martha Franz Fund at Children’s Medical Center of Dayton, which supports the needs of local CF families.

Richard Marx? I thought he was dead. (Pause for quick lookup on Wikipedia.) I stand corrected: He’s not dead, only his career is dead! Nice “get” Fraze. I think Carrot Top is available if you have any open dates.

Ha Ha Ha you think your pretty funny don’t you? Do your friends encourage you. He has more of a career than you’ll ever have. Your title alone shows what an idiot you are.

Wow, so aan artist who was big in the 90’s comes here to do a charity show, something that will help a lot of people, and someone has the nerve to slam him like that? Why do these boards attract so much trash?

My wife’s a big fan and I’ve tagged along with her to a couple of his shows. He’s actually very entertaining. He’s funny, self-deprecating, and he’s a talented musician who’s well aware of his current level of fame. (Something less than it once was.) I’m looking forward to seeing him again.

I have to admit i am a bit of a dork, i see him everytime he comes to the fraze. i am in my late 20’s and have always been a fan, even though its not really cool. He does put on a great show and is very entertaining and pretty funny. Yes i agree most of the acts the come to the fraze are pretty much has beens but, they are not big enough for the really big acts that come with big crowds. If you dont like it maybe you should move to cincinatti.

I’m in my 80’s. The only Marx I know are Chico, Harpo and Groucho.

I have seen Richard Marx many times in the past, and I have never been disappointed. I think that it’s wonderful that he takes the time to do charity events like this for Cystic Fibrosis. Definitely very rewarding. To the person who decided to make fun of Richard, I’d say get a life. Instead of trolling the internet looking for ways to insult people, you should find something intelligent to do with your life. His career beats yours any day of the week.
