Does anyone still really care about Alice Cooper? Why does the Fraze insist on bringing in so many has-beens?

Last time Alice Cooper played, there were tons 40’s and 50’s age group folks sitting outside, tailgating and sipping their beer, while their teenage kids were inside watching the show. My kids loved the show and are thrilled he is coming back. I, on the other hand, will be sitting on my porch a block away drinking my own beer and listening to the show for free….

Alice never fails to hire the best guitar players out there, and he knows how to rock the joint. The thing is, rock and roll is down and out, so the young people won’t be there this time. I imagine the crowd will be the senior rollers from the seventies. Rock on, Alice!

Wow. Been a long time since I’ve seen him. He puts on a great show. You naysayers haven’t got a stinking clue. I hear the circus is in town next week. Take your family THERE! I won’t be going to the Fraze anymore as they are lying and greedy and just plain terrible neighbors to Kettering as a whole because of their recent IGNORANT and LIE FILLED decision.

I just bought 2 $ 38 tickets for GooGoo Dolls and it cost me $ 95. Ticketmaster has 3 diff. fees that they charge! So $ 76 magically turned into $ 95

Tim, my misinformed fellow blogger: ROCK AND ROLL IS NOT DOWN AND OUT! I was a rock n’roller from the 70’s and am not even close to being a “senior”, pal. As far as “young people” not being there; GOOD! They just get in the way anyhow. I am pleased, however, you ended your blog with “Rock on…” ;)

Alice Ghostly passed a couple of years ago. She was best on car 54. There’s plenty of family entertainment at Fraze, TJ. But you’re hardly the only person in the area. Just because YOU don’t like something doesn’t mean people won’t want to see it. Don’t like it, don’t go. Plenty of people with families will see Alice.

If they ban tailgating, I’m not paying for another ticket at Fraze.

All the Fraze wants is hasbeens…doesn’t cost them much..and we have to pay high prices for tickets.

You don’t have to pay anything, J. I’ll take “has-beens” (often deemed by not ever close to being a never was) over most of what passes for popular music now. Lyp-synching, over produced, fake choreographed half-talented, only there because of their looks kiddies? You can have ‘em J.

All of you who are bashing Alice better read up on him. He is doing wonderful things for our youth today. Check out “SOLID ROCK FOUNDATION” He still draws a crowd from all ages.

While it is hard for veteran rockers to get much airplay these days, Cooper is hardly a has been. He tours every year and still puts out really good albums that sell relatively well. He still can draw an auidence and still puts on very good shows. Even at his age, an Alice Cooper show is better than most of the “newer bands”. I took my teenage sons to see Alice a few years ago, even though they mainly are into newer bands, and they were blown away. They are now bonafide Cooper fans. Some of us still care a lot especially about a performer as entertaining as Alice Cooper. Rock on!

Alice is supreme! I am 29 and have been a fan since I was a kid…his shows, his albums…fantastic imagery…his newest, Along Came A Spider is about a serial killer who wishes to make his own spider out of human legs so each victim, he collects a leg. However, he falls in love with his 8th intended victim and he can’t kill her… I have seen his show 12 times and will be driving up from Louisville, Ky to see this show…awesome!!!

Actually Alice is still pretty relevant. This year he is doing a coheadling tour with Rob Zombie. He draws better than many 70’s era bands and frankly rock music doesn’t exactly dominate radio or the charts these days, so he actually is still a fairly big name in rock circles and he puts on a really fun show. I know he is known for the classic material but some of his best albums have been in the last fifteen years or so, stuff like Brutal Planet, simply awesome.
