• Beer Pride Parade 2011

  The Beer Pride Parade makes it's way down Fifth Street in the Oregon District. This is the official start of Beer Week in which there will be 60 beer themed event happening around Dayton.

• Pinup Beauty Pageant

  Carmichael's Pub in Dayton held a Pinup Beauty Pageant Saturday, July 30. MC for the evening was Dixie Dupree, of Timeless Entertainment, and the ladies of Femme Fatale Fitness of Dayton put on a burlesque show.

• Hunks in Heels Happy Hour

  Here's some of what we saw during the Hunks in Heels Happy Hour at the Dayton Racquet Club in downtown Dayton, Friday, April 29, 2011. They were raising money for Clothes That Work by selling votes in the best legs contest, and will be competing in a race at The Greene on May 14th.

• Wedding watching parties

  The Pub at The Greene in Beavercreek hosted a party for the Royal Wedding early Friday, April 29, 2011. Doors opened at 5:45 a.m. Festivities included live coverage of the wedding ceremony, a complimentary champagne toast and wedding cake courtesy of Ele Cakes. In Yellow Springs, Gilah Pomeranz and about 20 other anglophiles gathered in their PJs and tiaras at the Little Art Theatre for a private viewing party that began at 3 a.m.

• Bunny Hop Pub Crawl

  The 1st Annual Dayton Bunny Hop Pub Crawl took place on Good Friday on April 22, 2011 in Dayton. The first stop was Flanagan's with stop two at Jimmie's Cornerstone Bar & Grill.

• Fashion show at Therapy

  Dayton native, Althea Harper was scheduled to show her new clothing line at the Ohio Classic II Tuesday night at Therapy Cafe in downtown Dayton but Harper was stuck in the New York City because of the snow storm. The show did go on featuring Tracy McElfresh and her vintage inspired clothing with accessories by Lissa Lush.

  Vanilla Ice performed at McGuffy's House of Rock Friday, Oct. 15, as a tribute and fundraiser for 9/11.

• Bartenders compete at T.G.I.F's

  Bartenders at T.G.I. Friday's in Beavercreek competed in a Flair Bartending Contest on Wednesday, July 21, to see who would advance in the restaurant chain's World Championship. The restaurant and the Beavercreek Professional Firefighters raised about $300 at the charity event to benefit Owen's Place.
