CENTERVILLE — Dr. Rick Buenaventura will move his Pain Relief of Dayton office to a larger location at 7244 Far Hills Ave. in Centerville on Oct. 20.
The former Air Force lieutenant colonel plans to add new treatment options through allied health professionals, starting with psychology, after moving from 3490 Far Hills Ave. in Kettering. Formerly called Dayton Pain Med, the spine and pain-management center, specializes in treating chronic pain.
Buenaventura has practiced pain medicine and anesthesiology locally since 1994 when he started at the Wright-Patterson Medical Center. He left the Air Force in 2002 after receiving its Meritorious Service Medal for work in the pain clinic. He is on medical staffs at both Kettering Medical Center and Greene Memorial Hospital, and teaches at Wright State University's School of Medicine.
