Sci-Fi thriller to be filmed in NM

SANTA FE, N.M. —
A sci-fi thriller about three college freshmen who disappear while tracking a computer hacker through the Southwest will film in New Mexico.
The New Mexico Film Office says "The Signal," starring Academy Award nominee Laurence Fishburne and others, will film mid-May through the end of June in and around Albuquerque, Los Lunas and Taos.
The production will employ about 65 New Mexico crew members and more than 35 New Mexico background and principal talent.
