The Associated Press

BOSTON —

Some of Boston's biggest music icons are scheduled to perform this week at a benefit concert for victims of the Boston Marathon bombings.

Aerosmith, James Taylor and New Kids on the Block are among the performers expected at the benefit concert Thursday at the TD Garden.

The show will benefit The One Fund, a victim's compensation fund.

"Boston Strong: An Evening of Support and Celebration" will also include performances by the J. Geils Band, Boston, Godsmack, Extreme, Jason Aldean, Jimmy Buffett and Carole King. Comedians Dane Cook and Steven Wright will also perform.

Three people were killed and more than 260 were injured in twin bombings near the finish line of the April 15 marathon.
