Barb Axe will conduct a 6-week quilting workshop beginning Jan. 8 and concluding on June 18. The fee for this entire course is $25 with a limit of 12. Attendees are responsible for bringing their fabric and sewing machine. If preferred, hand stitching is also acceptable. Registration continues through Dec. 20. Organizational meeting will be Jan. 8. The classes are held on the third Thursday of each month.

Wanting to learn how to use that digital camera you got for Christmas? Join a two part digital photography class at the West Chester library. The program is designed for the novice digital photographer. The first session will focus on functions of digital cameras and the fundamental steps to getting better pictures. The second session will cover composition and other techniques to make pictures stand out. The second session will also cover the basics of using light in photography. There will be time for questions and answers. Both sessions are presented by the West Chester Photography club.

The public is invited to an all day scrapbooking event from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 17 at Edwin H. Greene Middle School on Aldine Drive off Kenwood Road in Blue Ash.
